TORONTO (January 14, 2016) – Secret Location, the award-winning content creation company for emerging platforms, has developed ‘Donculous Dash, a new interactive companion app to FreshTV-produced animated series Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race. Now in its ninth year on Corus Entertainment’s Cartoon Network (Canada) and TÉLÉTOON, ‘Donculous Dash is the first gaming experience for The Ridonculous Race and gives the game players control over the show outcome.

Secret Location created ‘Donculous Dash to extend the experience of the hit kids series, allowing players to choose the winner of the linear broadcast. Targeting 6 – 11 year olds, the game follows the show’s narrative, which sees 18 teams race around the world for the chance to win a fictional one million dollars. Every episode features an adventure to a new country where teams participate in a series of challenges. The last team to arrive at the finish line of each episode may be eliminated.

In ‘Donculous Dash, Secret Location collaborated with the show’s creators to design a fun and exciting experience that put players right in the middle of The Ridonculous Race world. Players choose their favourite team and take them through similar challenges. As teams are eliminated from the series, they are also removed from the game and players can only use the teams remaining. When the final three pairs are left, ‘Donculous Dash player points are compiled, ultimately deciding the winner of the TV series. After the finale on Monday, February 15, the game is reset and players can use all the teams again.
